The Trouble With Andropause

What is the Andropause Definition?

Andropause refers to a process in which androgen levels are decreasing. Menopause causes estrogen levels to drop rapidly, while testosterone drops slowly. Men begin to lose the ability to maintain and achieve erections in their 60s and 50s. It may be that their testosterone levels are decreasing.

When does Andropause age begin?

Men usually begin experiencing andropause between 50-60 years old. However, if you’re in your 40s you might have noticed the same symptoms.

What are the Andropause symptoms?

Andropause can also cause symptoms. Men can lose up to 20 pounds between 40 and 70. Also, they lose 15% of the bone mass which makes them more susceptible to osteoporosis. Men can lose up to two inches of height but their body fat nearly doubles.

It is at this time that men start to lose their sight and hearing. The cardiovascular system and lungs are unable to sustain exercise as effectively as in the past.

What Are the Main Androgens?

Testicles play an important role. The “male gonads” are also known to produce sperm. These glands also produce hormones that are sex-related. For men, they’re called “androgens”. Testosterone is the main androgen.

A decrease in sexual desire is one of the symptoms associated with andropause. A condition called hypogonadism occurs when males’ testosterone levels are abnormally low. A man diagnosed with hypogonadism will have a decreased level of sexual desire.

What is the Feedback Loop?

When testosterone levels are low, the hypothalamus receives the signal to release the luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone or LH-RH. The hypothalamus is notified when testosterone levels drop, and releases the LH-RH. The pituitary releases luteinizing hormonal, which stimulates the release of testosterone by the testicles. The hypothalamus tells the pituitary to stop producing luteinizing hormonal when there is enough testosterone in the bloodstream. The feedback loop is what we call it.

The feedback loop becomes less effective as you age. You may need some outside assistance.

Andropause Treatment

Human growth hormone releases are required to treat andropause. They increase your levels of human growth. Many of the symptoms associated with andropause will disappear when you use an HGH-releasing product. Men regain muscle, bone and sex drive. Also, they lose extra body fat as well as wrinkles. It can also reduce depressive symptoms you might experience when going through andropause.
